General Information On the CLEP Exams

The College Level Examination Program (CLEP) is one of your best options for testing out of college. Through CLEP, you can save hundreds to thousands of dollars and many semesters’ worth of time, depending on how many CLEP exams you want to test for.

This credit-by-exam program lets you earn your degree faster and for much lower fees by awarding you credits for college material you have already mastered, through work and life experiences and independent study. Simply by passing a 90-120 minute test, you can earn three to six credits toward your college or university degree – without having to sit through the actual classes or pay related tuition fees.
